Good things are happening in our Website, HOA management and development!

  • Murray Realty,  our very capable and responsive Association Management company, now located at 4519 Brambleton Ave, Suite 200, Roanoke, VA 24018.  HOA dues are to be sent there.
    Our personal contact is Nancy Hawkins 540-685-0601(After hours 540-265-8032).  She can also be reached by email at . You can call with questions about HOA dues, maintenance needs, lost or damaged clubhouse keys, reserving the clubhouse or pool facilities, and other things. 
  • Communication between our builders and homeowners is regular and up beat. As the changes are finalized, we will quickly pass the information to our neighborhood.
  • A new webmaster is working to keep the web-site and calendar regularly updated.

  • A Russlen Farms Neighborhood Newsletter has been set up with regular issues sent out about every 8-10 weeks and special ones send as as needed.

  • An FAQ Page has been added. 
  • A new calendar for reserving the pool and clubhouse has been set up.  The calendar is easier to use and for you to see "Open Slots" so you can plan your gatherings.

Home Town Security was able to fix the connection problems with the key fobs late yesterday.  All fobs should be working now.

If you are still having issues with your fob please email

If you still need a fob please stop by Murray Realty anytime between 9am and 5pm Monday-Friday. 

No need to call ahead-just come on by!

Update- 6/22/18

Home Town Security was on site today addressing the problems we are having with the key fobs.  There is a connection issue between the panel located at the clubhouse and the computer program.  In order to reset any non-functioning key fobs there must be a connection.   Today, I was able to reset a few fobs before I lost connection and it completely locked me out.  If your fob was one that I was able to reset then you received an email from me stating so.  I will continue to diligently work on this and send you updates of our progress.  I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and hope to have everything up and running soon. 


  • Nancy is in the process of getting everyone’s email loaded into a “group” so that notifications are sent directly to homeowners.  Keep an eye on Facebook and the Website for now till she can get this up and running.  After the group email is set up, all future communication will be primarily through email (mail for those who don’t have email). Facebook with be for “quick “ announcements and reminders not official notifications.
  • Key Fobs: The system will be “re-set” tomorrow morning.  If you have a fob that is not working please email a picture of the number on the back of the fob to so she can re-enter your fob into the system.  If you can’t get a clear picture, please send it typed out in the email.   This should correct the issue of non-functioning fobs.  
  • A card reader will be added to the inside pool gate on Tuesday 6/26.  Nancy will be on site while this is being installed and will have the fobs with her for those who have not picked theirs up yet.  She will be at the clubhouse from 9:30-11am.  You are still free to stop by Murray Realty before then to pick up your fob if you wish.
